Epson announces global partnership with Nemetschek Allplan Systems
4 February 2014 – Proving its commitment to the CAD market, Epson announces its partnership with architecture design company, Nemetschek Allplan Systems Gmbh. This means that the company certifies and recommends Epson as one of its preferred printer suppliers, making its CAD software, Allplan Engineering, now compatible with Epson’s SureColor SC-T3000, SC-T5000 and SC-T7000. Allplan Engineering is a system that supports the whole architectural design process, providing a complete solution for the CAD market.
Marco Van Niekerk, senior product manager, Epson Europe, says: “We are glad to have signed this agreement and we believe this software, combined with our SC-T Series, will make a winning combination. Allplan Engineering software has a driver inside, so SC-T Series users just need to install it, connect and they are ready to print.”
Designed to fit seamlessly into the CAD office environment, the SC-T Series 4-colour printers offer high-speed printing and are economical, ideal for printing architectural designs, plans, maps and presentations. They offer reliable printing on coated and non-coated media up to 44-inch (1,118mm, B0+ size), 36-inch (914mm, A0 size) and 24-inch (610mm, A1 size) wide respectively.
