Epson photo printers win a fifth successive “Red Dot: Product Design” award
Epson has won a “Red Dot: Product Design” award for its SureColor SC-P900 and SC-P700 professional photo printers in the Product Design category (Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021). This year marks the fifth successive year that Epson printers have won in the product design category.
The Red Dot Design Award is recognised globally as one of the most prestigious awards in the design field. The awards which were created in 1955 in Germany are organised by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen design centre. A jury of experts evaluates products announced during the past two years and selects the best designs based on nine criteria, including degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, ecological compatibility, and durability.
Both the SureColor SC-P900/ SC-P700 are professional quality photo inkjet printers supporting A2 extra and A3 sizes and are designed with compact precision to deliver exceptional and expressive colour prints for professional photographers and photo enthusiasts. Over the last ten years Epson has made significant improvements in image quality, unit size, exterior design, functionality and usability to create Epson flagship models fit to lead a new era of photographic production.
